The main activity of the network is the organization and financial support of the exchange of scientists and postgraduates and the transfer of knowledge associated with this.The funding is organized by the OeAD-GmbH\/MPC in cooperation with ASEA-UNINET (on behalf of and financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research \u2013 BMBWF).<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Applications are open to <strong>postgraduates<\/strong> who have obtained a master degree (including master thesis) or a doctoral degree (or equivalent degree) in various fields (including e.g. Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine, Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts) as well as to <strong>undergraduates<\/strong> and <strong>graduates<\/strong> in the field of music practice (only).<\/p>\n<h2>Country of origin:<\/h2>\n<p>Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia (new!)<\/p>\n<h2>Target country:<\/h2>\n<p>Austria<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>There are four types of grants:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Post-doc Grants<\/strong> (research grants)<br \/>\nDuration: max. 3-9 months (new!)<br \/>\nGrant benefit: 1,150 euro<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PhD-Grants<\/strong><br \/>\nGrant for a complete PhD programme in Austria<br \/>\nDuration: 36 months<br \/>\nGrant benefit: 1,050 euros<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sandwich-Grants<\/strong><br \/>\nGrant for a partial study period during a PhD programme in Austria<br \/>\nDuration: 9 months<br \/>\nGrant benefit: 1,050 euros<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Music-Grants (please see <a href=\"https:\/\/oead.at\/en\/to-austria\/grants-and-scholarships\/ernst-mach-grant\/faq-ernst-mach-grant-asea-uninet\/#information-for-applications-in-the-field-of-music\">here<\/a> for further information if you plan to apply for a music-grant!)<\/strong><br \/>\nGrant for study stay in music practice (new!)<br \/>\nDuration: 9 months<br \/>\nGrant benefit: 1,050 euros<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, scholarship holders receive a travel cost subsidy of max. 1,000 euros.<\/p>\n<h2>Maximum age:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates: 35 years<\/li>\n<li>Post docs: 45 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Language proficiency:<\/h2>\n<p>Very good knowledge of English and\/or German<\/p>\n<h2>Closing date for applications<\/h2>\n<p>the call is made
