Master in Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Islamic University of Indonesia continues to strive to improve the quality of education and research through various efforts, including international accreditation from ASIIN. ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik) is an international accreditation institution originating from Germany for engineering, mathematics and science, agriculture, biology disciplines. The accreditation document preparation workshop was held for 2 days by presenting 2 speakers, namely:

  1. Dr. Antuni Wiyarsi, M.Sc.
  2. Prof. Dr. Eli Rohaeti, M.Si

Hopefully with the application of international accreditation for master’s in chemistry, it can improve the quality of learning and research and make UII the first ASIIN-accredited chemistry master’s campus in Indonesia.

Alhamdulillah. One of the lecturers in Chemistry Masters received an extraordinary award. He is Prof. Dr. Is Fatimah, S.Si., M.Si entered the list of the top 500 best Indonesian researchers. Prof. Is Fatimah ranks 180 best Indonesian researchers according to the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) which was announced by the Minister of Research and Technology / National Agency for Research and Innovation Prof. Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro on Thursday, May 28, 2020. The entire family of the chemistry master program would like to congratulate and succeed for the achievements.

The registration of new students for the Chemistry Master study program for the academic year 2020/2021 for March 2021 has been opened. The Chemistry Master Study Program offers the following 3 (three) concentrations:

  • Development of Essential Oils and Derivative Products
  • Materials for energy and the environment
  • Development of natural materials for health and food

The registration requirements are as follows:

  1. Filling in the registration form can be done online (click the link below) or come directly to the Secretariat of the Master of Chemistry Study Program.
  2. Paying the Registration Fee of Rp. 300.000, – the registration fee is non-refundable (non-refundable) if prospective students decide not to proceed to the selection process.
  3. Submit 1 copy of the last diploma (legalized), namely the Bachelor’s diploma.
  4. Submit 1 sheet of copy of the score transcript (legalized).
  5. Submit 1 copy of an English proficiency certificate (CEPT / ITP / IBT / TOEIC / IELTS) from the official English language test provider.
  6. Submit 1 copy of the Academic Potential Test (TPA) certificate.
  7. Submit 2 sheets of 4 x 6 cm color photographs.
